Reasons to Invest in Missing Middle Housing: A Call to Action for Cities and Developers

The benefits of walkable living are well documented. As noted in the Surgeon General’s new Step It Up campaign, walkability positively impacts the mental and physical health of residents. It also contributes to better environmental stewardship, by avoiding sprawl and it’s over-use of our land resources, and by reducing dependence on automobiles. As such, cities must invest in walkable neighborhoods to support the environment and health of their citizens.
