Opticos Design is an award-winning urban design and architecture firm with offices in Berkeley, CA and Chicago, IL—and expanding our presence in Southern California. For more than 25 years, we’ve led innovative solutions to housing and neighborhood challenges, from launching the Missing Middle Housing movement to creating Culdesac Tempe, the largest car-free neighborhood in the U.S., and contributing to Seaside, Florida, one of the most celebrated walkable neighborhoods in the country.
