Avoid These Mistakes to Write Better Form-Based Codes

In his article, “Avoiding Common Form-Based Coding Mistakes, Part 2,” Dan Parolek discusses several common mistakes of writing Form-Based Codes—and how to avoid them. He says that a lack of planning can undermine a Form-Based Coding effort and takes a closer look at how use permissions and development standards need to be revised to ensure that a new Form-Based Code produces the desired results. Parolek also gives tips on how to select a Form-Based Code consultant.

The article was published in the June issue of Zoning Practice, a publication put out by the American Planning Association. Part 1 appeared in May.
